I've been around....seriously

I cannot believe I haven't posted since April?
I have been here really, and I've been putting stuff in the store, but life gets
busy and complicated, and even hard sometimes so I haven't posted, but I'm back.
We have a few new things we found this week, that I LOVE.....

Love my Broncos...
I remember the year 1977 like yesterday. We went to our first Superbowl that year, and we attended.
It didn't matter that we sat among Dallas fans in our orange and blue and that they harassed us until we started to loose so badly that they felt sorry and left us alone. Score was 27-10:(
No, all that mattered was that our beloved Broncos were there.
Craig Morton was the quarterback, Lyle Alzado was defensive tackle, and Haven Moses was an excellent receiver.
I found these glasses this week they are from the year 1977.

This mug is from the same year, and represents the 1977 American Conference Champions. Their schedule for that year  is on the back.

FUN WEEKEND...

We had a great weekend of estate shopping,
I love it when we find sales that have cheap things and ones where you have to dig for the treasures.

This little mouse is a cheese grater, probably for Parmesan cheese

Look at this pretty depression glass tea cup....

A lemon grater...

Special Mother's Day Gift....

I love Precious Moments, and this little music box is really special.
It measures around 5 inches tall.
The little figure sits in her rocking chair that rocks back and forth, goes around in circles, while playing
TARA'S THEME from Gone With The Wind.
She is holding her embroidery hoop which has MOTHER stitched on it.
The bottom says 1989 edition.
This would make a perfect vintage Mothers Day Gift.

The needles are metal...so cute

Jewel Tea...

Does anyone remember these?
When I was little I remember the Jewel Tea Man would come to the house with a truck full
goods to sell to mom.

He sold China with an Autumn leaf Pattern.
Mom had several pieces.
Today I found one of my favorites. The ice lipped beverage pitcher. It is a light tan with flowers on both sides, and trimmed in gold.
It is very cool and now in the ETSY shop...www.etsy.com/shop/stapestreasuretrove

Pyrex Lover?

Anyone who knows us well, knows that Art is the cook in the family.
He has cupboards full of spices, and cooking utensils.
He has a knife set that supposedly is so good that it is supposed to be passed on in the will:)
Seriously...
Anyway his newest love is Pyrex ware?
In our travels he is always on the lookout for the perfect dish.
Color and size are very important.

I head for the books he heads for the Pyrex  at our estate sales.

This week he found these very nice Pyrex cups.
and sugar and creamer...
He was delighted for days, but finally reluctantly put them into the store on Etsy.
I'm trying to clean out the coffee cup cupboard, we don't need four new cups:)

If you love Pyrex come check it out...

I found this cookie jar at an estate sale. I was delighted because it reminds me
of one we had at home.

So cute.
